About Pouyesh
Pouyesh has evolved from BICDO (British Iranian Community Development Organisation), which was formed in 2010. BICDO’s work was reviewed in 2019, its initiatives were developed and its name changed to Pouyesh to better reflect its work.
Pouyesh is a non-religious and non-Political community organisation with the aim of giving British-Iranians a voice; a positive voice that only comes when our community is aware and proud to share its heritage, is able and eager to integrate in the British society and its civic duties and be represented in the decision-making processes.

This Community Directory is a listing of known organisations and groups that cater for British-Iranians and other Farsi-speaking members of our society. It is our aim to facilitate connections, promote partnerships and to signpost members of our community to services that best cater for their needs. Ultimately, we like to see all sections of our community is supported and integrated.
